Pastor's Biography

Pastor Marcus Thompson, an ordained Man  of God, has a heart and calling toward serving and lifting up believers  and encouraging them to grow and deepen their relationship with Christ.

He currently serves as Chief Administrator Officer of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning.  He has served as an Assistant to the State Superintendent, Mississippi Department of Education; School Teacher; Mathematics Specialist and Facilitator; and a Child Care Facility Director.

He has also served as Pastor of Ministries and Administration, Thirty-First M.B. Church, Meridian MS; served as advisor and assistant to the Senior Pastor; Vacation Bible School Director; Sanctuary Choir Director and many other aspects of Worship Service, Bible Study, and church operation.

He is a graduate of Mississippi College, Clinton MS:  Bachelor of Arts, History and Spanish with a Minor in English; Master of Education, Elementary Education.

He serves on the Board of Make-A-Wish Foundation and Bobbie's Little Lambs Christian Center. 

He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Faternity, Incorporated.
